Rehabilitation of the house on Ierusalimi street
The building was built in the late 19 th century and possesses a unnique and historical appearance.
The goal of the project is rehabilitation of the building at #1 Ierusalimi St and restoration of it’s artistic and architectural appearance.
Project involves shifting of several parts of the building and solidifying of foundation. Metal mesh is attached for strengthening facades and walls. Apartures are solidified by the method of framing, between-floor covering replaced with a new one and the existent roof is removed completely.

The building at #1 Ierusalimi St has a status of cultural heritage monument and was built in the late 19 th century. Building is situated on a slight downhill and faces streets and squares of Ierusalimi and Betlemi. It has a blind alley from the side of yard and is organically fitted to location and the historically developed environment. The structure of the building is interesting as a form of a late 19 th century dwelling (a pseudo-renaissance facade and internal yards with wooden balconies characterizing Tbilisi) and a reality reflecting the art of building. The house is garnished with interesting decor and represents itself one of the dominant of the district. The building creates distinct accentuation and determines character of development of the district.
